Serman & Tipsmark is expanding its range with Parker Autoclave valves and fittings

Serman & Tipsmark is constantly striving to provide its customers with a wide range of products. Following our long-standing cooperation with Parker we have been granted the right to distribute Parker Autoclave valves and fittings. A range of products that is known as one of the leaders in the field of stainless steel high-pressure technology.

Following its acquisition of Autoclave Engineers, Parker has expanded its product portfolio of valves and fittings that can now withstand pressure of up to 150,000 PSI. These valves and fittings meet the stringent pressure requirements specified for the offshore industry. The tendency in offshore installations is that they are placed in deeper marine areas than was previously the case, which is why more stringent requirements for the components used are in place. The manufacturers of subsea equipment have stipulated the requirement that valves and fittings must be able to withstand these harsh environments. Parker Autoclave components comply with these requirements and are among the best in the market.

As a rule, Autolave components are manufactured in stainless steel but are also available in 6Mo, Super Deplex and Inconel 625. The latter is specially constructed for subsea equipment at great depths in environments with a high salt content. Parker Autoclave also manufacture 2-way and 3-way ball valves that are constructed for these environments. Two-way valves are available with an opening of up to 1 inch and 3-way valves with an opening of up to a ½ inch. Depending on the type of pipe fittings used, the valves can be adapted for an operating pressure of up to 20,000 PSI.

Parker Autoclave ball valves have the following advantages:

  • Comply with the requirements in API 6A-PR2
  • They have been tested in relation to their constructional integrity and sealing ability
  • Features an innovative solid cast trunnion mounted stem design
  • Eliminates displacement errors
  • Provides double action flow service
  • The stem is supported by a pressure disc that prevents the pressure affecting adjustment of the seat and ball
  • Space-saving
  • Can be supplied in versions controlled from a remotely controlled underwater vessel
  • Reliable

Over the years, the components have proven to have a high level of integrity and ability to withstand working pressure, making the products highly sought after.
