Supplying the Green Transition

Two large hydraulic units from Serman & Tipsmark are completed and on their way to our customers.

The units will be used in offshore wind turbine installations and include an active heave compensator and a blade yoke. The projects were carried out in collaboration with long-standing partners.

The lifting capacity of the heave compensation unit is an impressive 1,250 tons. The assembly took place in a large workshop hall in Rotterdam equipped to handle such tasks. Serman & Tipsmark technicians were on-site for the assembly.

For the blade yoke, we supplied HPUs, cylinders, accumulators, and carried out piping and hose installation.

These hydraulic system packages are specially designed and developed according to our customers’ requirements, in compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and adapted to the harsh offshore environment.
