Two test units with multifunction pumps for White Drive Motors & Steering
Serman & Tipsmark has delivered two test units and two accompanying multifunction hydraulic pump stations - one for each test unit. The purpose for White Drive Motors & Steering is to test their orbital hydraulic motors and identify faults and improvement points. The panels can test a wide range of orbital hydraulic motors from the small OML motors to the largest OMS motors.
The two test panels perform lifetime testing of the motors.
What challenge do the test panels need to solve?
White Drive wants to do advanced product’s lifetime study that’s why the company decided to buy new testing machine. Results from testing will help extend product durability and reliability to be best in class manufacturer of High pressure hydraulic products.
The solution - Test panel 1:
The steady-state test panel works by running the test motor against a brake motor. Once the desired speed is reached, they can control the load on the test motor by braking with the brake motor. This test panel can test 3 motors at a time. With the included pump station, you can achieve high flow and high pressure of 350 bar.
Cooling and heating of oil is a parameter White Drive Motors & Steering sets according to test needs.
The solution - Test panel 2
The Radial-Axial test panel applies loads to the motor shaft while it is running. This test panel can test 6 motors at a time. The included pump station can precisely control the desired cylinder forces.
