Electrical Test Systems for 1 kN m and 10 kN m

At Serman & Tipsmark, we are specialists in hydraulics, but did you know that we also build systems without hydraulics? Most recently, we built two electrical test systems for 1 and 10kN m of 10 rpm. That is, 1 ton lifted out at a distance of 1 meter at a speed of 10 rpm. The test systems will be used both for the development of new equipment and in connection with End-of-line tests at the customer.

Portable system with low energy consumption

The systems are adapted and tailored to the customer's wishes and requirements, and therefore, the entire system is portable and dimensioned for operation in a heating chamber up to 70 degrees Celsius, and torque and speed are both controlled by a servo motor with planetary gear, and clutch combined with a torque meter with high resolution. The braking torque of the system is traced back to the grid instead of over a resistor resulting in a lower energy consumption.

The test systems are delivered complete and as "plug-and-play" so that they are ready for use from day one. This means that the systems include universal test tables for flexible installation and later modification, flexible flange pattern for the use of several different test items, as well as removable electrical cabinets. Not least, there is also a built-in low friction bearing, high torque gauge, couplings between gauges and gearbox, planetary gearbox and servo motor with associated drive.
